Deeside Duathlon 2008
Thank you to all marshalls and competitors who helped with our pilot for this race. 21 people raced with 4 teams. Look out for the event next year but a bit bigger.
Congratulations to Ali Hubbard and Sarah Dunn who won and automatically hold the course records.
Cambus Canters 2008
Winner for 2008 in a closely contested series is Ursula Bass.
It is unusual for the series still to be hanging on a thread until the final month but this year has been very closely fought between Ursula, Jane Douglas and James Espie. All three have made tremendous improvements over the series and it's been very exciting to see the final results come in. Congratulations also to Ruth and Matthew for the fastest female/male times this year
Ballater 10 2008
160 runners finished the course under warm conditions. Paul Arcari took the lead from the start and was first to finish in 53.46. There was a battle for second between John Newsom and Barney Philips which made for an exciting finish.
First female was Rebecca Johnson in 1:06:18

July Cambus
As we move into the second half of the Cambus season, it was another night of PB improvements for the table-leaders. Sam Long made a strong debut while Dave Hirst shook off his Cambus gremlins and posted an improving time (at last). Derek and Evelyn did remarkably well considering they ran Lairig at the weekend and Christine also had a good run.
Lairig Ghru Results 2008
We now have the results from the Lairig Ghru results. They will be updated to include age categories once various people have returned from holiday.
Thanks to Roelf and family for organising the event, the Mountain Rescue for support and the other helpers who made the event a success.
June Handicap
Six runners ran up Craiglich for the June handicap. It was fairly cool and windy but this didn't stop Sam Burgess who starting off second last managed to pass everyone in front of him and win the handicap and have the fastest time. Read more for results
