Summer Picnic

On Saturday 3rd July, Deeside Runners will be having a summer picnic at the BBQ Hut in Ballochbuie Forest (NO 189 888)

The idea is that Ev and I will cycle in to the hut and, using my bike trailer, we will take in a small picnic.
Your part is to turn up for the picnic at 1:00pm
There are a variety of route options to the hut giving you the chance to make this part of a long run or just a short run from the car to allow you to join in.

To avoid first-comers scoffing everything and me having to do a loaves ’n’ fishes, the picnic won’t be opened until 1:00pm

Although I know that all Deeside Runners are hardy souls who run in all weathers, I think the picnic element needs reasonable weather (and we don’t have access to the hut itself). Accordingly, I will put up a topic on the Training Forum of the club website and update this on the day if there has to be any last minute change of plan.

You MUST let me know if you are intending coming along as otherwise it will be very difficult for me to organise enough food.
